Mangaluru: St Joseph The Worker Hr Pry School holds alumni Meet

Mangaluru, Oct 16: To take a walk down the nostalgic corridors, alumni of St Joseph the Worker's Higher Primary School, Vamanjoor, on Sunday, October 15, organised an alumni meet.

The meeting began with a prayer song, and lighting of lamp by the headmistress and students of different batches. The occasion was graced by 31 former students and the staff members of the school.

Sr Queeni Annie, headmistress of the school welcomed the alumni and appreciated their achievements in all walks of life. She praised their initiative of creating a WhatsApp group and emphasised the need for further strengthening the link between the alumni and the school.

Mallesh and Lavisha were elected the vice president and the secretary.

The headmistress and teachers brought forth the present situation the school saw itself in, and the various needs it faced.

There was a discussion and sharing of ideas.

The alumni association agreed to raise a fund to support various activities of the school, and share their talents with the students there on the occasion of school day.

The meeting ended with a promise to meet again in the month of December.
