BJP may get Ram temple built to win next polls, says Mayawati

Azamgarh/Lucknow, Oct 25 (DHNS): BSP supremo Mayawati on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing it of pursuing ‘’communal politics,’’ and said that the saffron party could get the Ram temple constructed in Ayodhya to win the next Lok Sabha polls in 2019.

Addressing a public meeting at Azamgarh, about 275 km from here, Mayawati expressed serious concern over ‘’discrimination’’ against the Dalits and threatened to convert to Buddhism, if the caste system continued to prevail in Hindu religion.

‘’The BJP government at the Centre has failed to fulfil the promises made by the saffron party at the time of the elections. It is, therefore, pursuing communal politics and may get the Ram temple constructed in Ayodhya with the objective of winning the 2019 elections,’’ she said.

She alleged that dalits and Muslims were being ‘’persecuted’’ in the BJP regime. Mayawati lashed out at Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for “not paying attention to real issues.”

‘’Adityanath is busy visiting temples. He does not have time to think of development,’’ she said.

One ex military officer told, the govt will not build Ram Mandir unless SC gives a favorable judgement. If govt builds forcibly, they have to maintain a large contingent of security. He also said, just one PM maintains a contingent of one thousand commandos with 3 tier Z security for his one man use. Then how much security is required for Ram Mandir, he said.

Outside India, in one paper, what I read, if the Mandir is built forcibly, I cannot write here.
