Mumbai, Jun 20: A delegation of journalists from Mumbai representing various organisations today met the Governor of Maharashtra S C Jamir at the Raj Bhavan here.
The delegation presented a memorandum to the Governor demanding immediate arrest of Vinayak Mete for being behind the attack on the residence of Dr Kumar Ketkar, the Editor-in-Chief of Lok Satta. Condemning the recent attacks on the office of Saamna in Pune and the MTV office in Mumbai, the delegation requested the Governor to initiate stringent mesures by framing charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code against all the accused responsible for the attacks.
