Udupi: ‘All districts in state to have 'Gau Parivar’ to protect cows

Udupi, Oct 31: "According to Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji, pontiff, Sri Ramachandrapura Math, all those who drink cow milk should become the protectors of cow. As the situation in India is calling for urgent need for protection of cows, 'Bharathiya Gau Parivar' is being formed as per the guidance of the Swamiji." said Udayashankar Bhat, president of state media of Gau Parivar.

He was speaking at the preliminary meeting organized at Udupi on Monday, October 30 with respect to the formation of Gau Parivar.

"Conservation and increase in the population of cows is the motto of Gau Parivar. Almost all the districts of Karnataka state have Gau Parivar. So it is decided to have one in Udupi also. Gau Parivar consists of 32 divisions. This helps everyone to contribute whatever help they can to conserve the cows. A campaign called 'Abhayakshara' will be carried out, in order to pressurize central and state governments to take steps towards the protection of cows.” he informed.

Shailaja Bhat, President of Cow Parivar Mathr section and Gunavantheshwara Bhat were present on the occasion.

    Is Udayashankar Bhat, president of state media of Gau Parivar taking orders from Bharti against whom two murder cases of disciples is still pending?
    He is the same swamy who refuse to take narco analysis test and his matched DNA samples from the crime scene is dumped from the investigation.
    The man who do not respect the women disciple, how will ask other to protect 'Gau mata'?
    Mr.Bhat, please rare some cows in you house first and distribute its milk to poor children. Give up gas connection and use cow patties in your kitchen.
    Please do some volunteer service for more than five thousand wondering cows in Uttar Pradesh destroying farmers standing crops.
    Kindly take some time go to Rajasthan and visit those 'Gow shala' were average 1500 cows are killed due negligence.
    If still have some time for humanity, go to Gorakhpur donate some from retirement life so that few children's life may be saved from lack of oxygen.

    They drink the milk of the cows that is meant for the calves; does that not prick their conscience? That the calves do not have their mothers' milk and that the mother is suffering when her baby is taken away from her. Earlier when the cow stopped giving milk the farmer used to sell it and get Rs. 25,000/- to buy another cow or for his crop. Now he has to give the cow away and that too free.

    Why cannot these people start homes for the aged? There are so many homeless people that need food and shelter. Get your priorities right.

    those who are giving press conference, how many of them have cow in their house??
    how many of them are ready to take deserted cows on road, if so, please publish their address, we will deliver all cows which are roaming around roads to their house, not only that, after a year of few years we will visit their house to check how did these so called protectors taken care of cows?? if still cow is healthy or alive and taken good care of it, then we will support you for sure.
    how many of you spoke against beef export to foreign countries???
    do you think there are no other issues than, cow in society ???
    grow up , and give good educations to children in and around your society, or else they will become one more generation of bhakts some or other day, and then people will search those bhakts for counselling instead of cows.

    when they approached me i have asked simple question .
    1.Are you having cow at your home-answer is NO,
    2.Do you know where is the biggest cow slaughter house and how much they exports
    3. Do you who are the owners of the cow big slaughters in India
    4. Wheter it is writen in constitution
    5. Save JANA and Not DANA.
