Mangaluru, Nov 4: "Self-respected Hindus cannot tolerate the defamation that is caused to the renowned Kateel Durgaparameshwari temple in social sites," said Member of Parliament, Nalin Kumar Kateel in a press release.
"If police do not arrest these culprits, who are trying to create unrest in the society, we will stage furious protests. Incidents of defaming Hindu gods are happening regularly. As the Congress representatives, who are playing 'appeasement politics', are interfering in the work of the police department, the police are unable to nab the accused," the press release says.
“It is a well-known fact that the police, who arrest the youth belonging to Hindu organizations for no reason, are not taking any action when injustice is meted out to Hindus. Protest against the Congress leaders, who are protecting the accused and police officials is inevitable.” concludes the press statement.
