Help in constructing Mohalla Clinics: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday urged opposition leaders to rise above party politics and help in the construction of Mohalla Clinics in the national capital

"Poor people are treated at these Mohalla Clinics. Any help in constructing them is an act of virtue. People should come forward by leaving aside party politics," Kejriwal said in a tweet.

He attached a news report on the North Delhi Municipal Corporation not giving the Delhi government land for expansion of a clinic.

Mohalla Clinics is a Delhi government flagship scheme, aiming to provide free primary healthcare service to Delhi residents closer to their homes. It has drawn praise from even abroad.
