No one can have the audacity to export cow meat from UP: Adityanath

Lucknow, Nov 5 (PTI): Cow meat is not exported from Uttar Pradesh and no one can have the audacity to do so, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today.

The UP chief minister asserted that even cruelty to a bovine could lead a person behind bars not to talk of killing cows.

Addressing an event organised here by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's Gauraksha Vibhag (cow protection wing), Adityanath said, "It is absolutely wrong and incorrect to say that the largest volume of cow meat is exported from Uttar Pradesh. Not an iota of cow meat can be exported from UP. No one can have the audacity of doing so, as it is banned in UP."

Adityanath said that his was the first government in the state to put a ban on on illegal abattoirs.

"If any person indulges in cruelty to cows (leave aside talking of killing of cows), he will find himself behind bars," Adityanath, a priest-turned-politician said.

Grazing land for cattle has been identified in UP and we have initiated drives to free encroached grazing land, he said.

What a statement!!! its very very perfect to say we have rich qualified people but none educated. We have pressing issues like infant mortality, education issues, healthcare problems, unemployment, infrastructure scarcity to generate enough employment; Food & shelter etc, However, now Cow is the centre of discussion! Animal cruelty, animal love all is perfect but to a certain extent, yes. Using certain birds and animals should not be a crime, nor anyone should be deprived of their eating habits. Illegal slaughterhouses are definitely a threat to society, environment and economy., should be banned. Let us first work towards building education, infrastructure and alternative means to develop each and every section of the community, alternative cheap food for all poor people, then definitely without iron fist laws, everything will fall in place.. Or else, the same question "What we achieved in these 70 years" will prevail even after next 70 years!! for the next generation to ask and keep them also busy in this discussion for another 70 years..

"Not an iota of cow meat can be exported from UP. No one can have the audacity of doing so, as it is banned in UP." It is same like saying prohibition in Gujarat. In Gujarat, agents bring and deliver to your home or hotel, just on a telephone.

At least this man has acknowledged that cow meat is exported from India. Dear Yogi, but being a CM, is it not your duty to see that the meat of your mother and god is not exported from India ? In Emirates flights to Europe, they serve beef and when asked from where, they said it is from Indian cow meat. Also. everyone knows and sees that it is available in supermarkets outside India.

Stopping cow meat export from UP and allowing it from India is desh bakti, according to you. You are also a Hindu who does not see any problem in exporting cow meat from India, but. claim your mother and your god. Shame on people like you.

Animals cannot be god. And god cannot be an animal. It will be an isult to god if u call animal as a god.

Hum sabko akkal de bhagwan... we are still living with blind belief.

He is right. What is slaughtered and exported is buffalo meat. Still it is called BEEF.
But, the hypocracy is, they will lynch a person even for carrying buffalo meat.
Put them all in an island with full of cows and buffaloes. Should be isolated from Main Land. Let them show all the love towards cows there.

The irony of the ban on cow slaughter in UP is that Hindu farmers have the additional expense of taking care of cows that have no economic value. Many Hindu farmers are abandoning their cows, the abandoned cows destroy the valuable crops of other farmes.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s 10-day deadline to herd the state’s stray cattle in sheds ended, but there was little that had changed on the ground.
With cows, bulls and buffaloes routinely entering farmlands and destroy standing crops, peeved farmers have been forced to take extreme measure like fencing their fields with electric wires, which further pose grave risk to both locals and livestock. Sometimes, in sheer anger and desperation, they have attacked the animals, scalding them with acid, cutting them with sharp weapons.
Kanpur Gaushala holds 540 cows, 152 of whom have died. The society that manages the facility holds property worth more than Rs 220 crore.
Two days before BJP MP Hema Malini narrowly escaped a bull attack at the Mathura Junction railway station, the station manager has been suspended for allegedly failing to curb the menace,
Gau rakish has turned cattle into enemies of farmers. Does it even protect the cattle? It’s nothing but a farce and causes devastation of farmers. All fields in the village have been destroyed.
CM Yogi leave aside talking of killing of cows. If you are true devout Hindu abiding to your faith, write open letter to Prime Minister Modi and Commerce and Industry ministry and ask them to cancel beef export licences with immediate effect. If not ask your private army of 'Hindu Yuva Vahini' to shut them by force. If not tender your resignation and go back to service of poojari in mandir.
    Jai Hind
