Lucknow, Nov 10 (IANS): Two persons were killed and two others critically injured in an accident on the Kanpur-Lucknow highway in the wee hours of Friday, police said.
The deceased -- medical representatives -- were on their way to Kanpur when the mishap took place as two cars rammed into each other, apparently due to fog, police said.
Passers-by and locals pulled out the bodies and the injured from the mangled remains of the car with great difficulty.
The deceased have been identified as Brijesh Sahu and Himanshu Mishra, both residents of Kanpur. The injured -- Bablu Gautam (25) and Kamlendra (35) -- have been admitted to a local medical facility.
