Mangaluru, Nov 13: The auditions for ‘Naach Nara Naach Nari’- a TV reality show of Konkani dance was held at Forum Fiza mall here on Sunday, November 12.
Daijiworld Television presents this Konkani duet dance championship, a mega dance reality show, to give a platform for passionate dancers.
Reena Jose, the regional head of the Malaika home appliances inaugurated the audition with unveiling the golden hat. Felix Moras of Ujwal Properties, Lesli Rego, director, The Mat Shop, Avil D’Cruz, choreographer, Walter Nandalike, founder Daijiworld Media Group, Divyanand, director Daijiworld24x7 were present on dais.
In his welcome speech, Walter Nandalike said, “Daijiworld has always been engaged in providing platforms for young talents. We already have many talent shows in our TV programmes. We are getting positive responses from our viewers also. Now this show has been specially designed to encourage dancing talents in Konkani songs. The show will produce new talents and we can also promote the Konkani songs among younger generation,”
“Many well-wishers have come out to support us for this show, especially Malaika Home appliances. They are main sponsors of this programme. I am thankful to them and other co-sponsors for their support. I hope that at the end of this show our younger talents will become stars in dance arena,” he added.
In his speech, Lesli Rego said, “Performing dance in front of a crowd is not an easy job. It needs lots of practice and dedication. And in TV shows, every moment is captured by cameras and so a minute fault is also considered when it is judged.”
“I also performed dance in my younger days. I know the happiness of it. I congratulate all the participants and wish them good results ahead. I am thankful to Daijiworld TV for their mission in search and promotion of new talents and stars,” Rego added.
The championship comprises of cash prizes, trophies, certificates, gift vouchers and other attractive prizes. It will include different rounds of competition and also eliminations at different levels. The TV reality show will culminate with a grand finale. Eminent judges will judge various rounds in the competition.
