Swamy asks Hindus to 'wake up' over Ayodhya dispute

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IANS): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Thursday asked Hindus to "wake up" since Muslim leaders were "refusing to give up" on the mosque in the Ayodhya dispute.

"Hindus wake up! Muslims leaders are refusing to give up on a masjid, that is shiftable, to restore the holiest temple on the birthplace of Ram," Swamy said on Twitter.

Swamy's tweet came amid efforts by Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to try to thrash out a mutually acceptable formula to the long-simmering Ayodha dispute.

Ravi Shankar on Wednesday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here and discussed the Ayodhya dispute.

He briefed the Chief Minister about his initiative to try and work out a mutually acceptable formula.

Last month, Ravi Shankar had expressed his willingness to mediate in the Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir dispute.

Why Swamy Wake up call and Giriraj Singh democracy coincides with the Gujarat elections?
Where did Swamy and Giriraj Singh go all these days when Rafale jet deal compromised the 'national security' and 'national interest' of the nation?
Why they observe absolute silence when another 70 children die in Gorakhpur due to lack medical attention?
Swamiji, there are 1000 of heritage temple in India facing threat of demolition due to negligence. For obvious reasons they don't bring votes to BJP and left to crumble on its own weight. Is you Sangh Parivar ever care for the old heritage of India.
It is time for Hindu's to question lack of oxygen and hunger killing in aspiring 'Hindu Rashtra'. Ayodhya dispute has already left the nation more than 10,000 crores of financial losses and more than 5000 fellow Indians killed.

    Yes Muslims should give up.
I have seen Muslims here building mosques in the vacant government land without seeing any vastu.
Their criteria is good accessible by road. They prefer only road side site. And close to their community people. That's all.
In Ayodhya they can shift to nearby government vacant land...

Swamy is right and whole Hindus of this Hindustan support building of grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodya. It is a holy place for us and we hindus will fight for it. Invader Babar demolished Lord Ram temple in Ayodya in 13th century and went and died in Afganistan. How can there be a mosque in the land of birth place of Shri Ram. Should we hindus build temple in Mecca or Jerusulem? If other two are holy place of other religion, Ayodya is the holy place for hindus. Swamy, entire hindus are with you. Jai Hind

my question is to swamy as an elected member of Parliament what authority he got to give such calls when time some elections to state is approaching. the ram mandir babari masjid matter is already in court. the instigators like advani joshi uma bharati and ex cm kalyan singh still enjoying power like MPs s and governors post. why subbu swamy silent in this matter. why BJP always playing one side game that too in the time of state elections.
