GoAir's flight suffers bird hit, returns to Delhi


New Delhi, Nov 18 (IANS): Budget carrier GoAir's flight G8 140 from Delhi to Patna with 176 passengers on-board suffered a bird hit just after it took-off from the IGI airport here on Saturday morning.

According to the airline, the incident occurred on Saturday morning as the aircraft "was climbing after take-off".

"As precautionary reason, pilot decided to return the aircraft to Delhi for an inspection. All passengers were immediately accommodated on another aircraft to Patna," the airline said in a statement.
