Billava Jagrati Balaga Commemorates Annual Day

Mumbai, Jul 1:
‘The Billava Jagrati Balaga in the city has its own office, and it can contribute significantly towards empowering the community, if members strive to strengthen the organization economically by their active participation,’ urged Suresh S Poojary, president of the Billava Jagrati Balaga.


 
Poojary, who was speaking at the 8th annual day celebrations of the Balaga, added that ‘Sri Narayana Guru Vijaya Darshana’, the book on Narayana Guru’s ideology had created a record in sales. G D Karkera, joint secretary of the Balaga, welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report.

Treasurer, J M Kotian, presented the annual account which was approved unanimously. S R Poojary, Sundar A Suvarna, Kripa B Kulai, D U Salian, L P Salian, N P Suvarna, Padmanabha Poojary, Sharada S Karkera, Babu Shiva Poojary, K B Bhojaraj, and S K Kotian, also spoke on the occasion.
 
Santosh S Poojary, women wing president, Sharada S Karkera, Balaga monthly bulletin ‘Guruthu’ editor K Babu Shiva Poojary, G D Karkera and J M Kotian, were also present.  Joint treasurer Sundar A Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
