Mangalore, Jul 8: Installation ceremony of the newly-elected office-bearers of Rotary Club Kinnigoli for the year 2008-09, was held on the evening of Monday July 7, 2008 at Sahakara Saudha Kinnigoli. District Interact committee chairman Rtn PHF Dr B Devdas Rai presided over the ceremony as the installing officer. Rtn PHF Raja Patrao, assistant governor of zone III and Rtn Ganesh Mallya participated as chief guests.

Rtn Gerald Menezes was installed as the new president of Rotary Club Kinnigoli, with Rtn Robert Rosario as secretary. 'Sinchana' a magazine brought out by Rotary Club Kinnigoly was released by Devdas Rai. Ganesh Mallya released information leaflets on chikungunya. Meritorious students with distinction were honoured and scholarship was distributed to the needy children.

Eric Pais, immediate past president of Rotary Club welcomed the gathering. Robert Rosario proposed vote of thanks. Sharat Shetty compered the programme.
