Mangaluru: Gas leakage - car, cowshed gutted, man injured

Mangaluru, Dec 8: A person named Jagadish Jain was injured after the gas from an Omni car leaked and caught fire. The Omni and the cowshed have been completely gutted in the fire.

The incident took place at Maribettu, Moodukonaje near Moodbidri on Friday, December 8.

Jagadish Jain, the manager of Moodbidri Mahaveera Auditorium, was washing his Omni vehicle parked in front of the cowshed of the house. Meanwhile there was leakage of gas from the vehicle. The car was engulfed within minutes with fire.



The intensity of fire increased when the grass in the cowshed too caught fire. Jagadish has sustained injuries on his face, back and hands.

Fortunately the cows were unharmed as those were tied away from the cowshed at the time of the incident.
