Lucknow, Dec 15 (IANS): A graduation ceremony to mark the culmination of the 156th Fighter Controllers' course was held here, a defence spokesman here said on Friday.
The course, which comprises officers from IAF and also from "friendly foreign countries", had commenced in July this year. After completion of combined training and graduation of foreign officers in September, the IAF officers continued to be trained in specific professional aspects.
The graduation function on Thursday, held at the Air Force Station Memaura, marks culmination of Fighter Controllers' Course and donning of the coveted Controllers' Badge for the graduating officers.
The valedictory function was presided over by the Central Air Command's Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, Air Vice Marshal P.K. Shrivastava and other senior officials. Flying Officer Palak Mittal was adjudged 'Best in Overall Performance'.
