Puttur, Dec 23: In a tragic incident, a woman and her daughter lost their lives in an accident at Bedrala railway overbridge here on Saturday December 23.
The deceased are yet to be identified, but they are said to be natives of Tamil Nadu. They were staying in a rented house at Veeramangala.
It is learnt that the accident took place when a government bus rammed into their two-wheeler from behind.
The bus driver escaped from the spot soon after the accident.
The bodies were shifted to the mortury in Puttur government hospital.
Puttur traffic police arrived at the spot and registered a case.
