Mumbai: Anil Ambani's Group to Build Massive 15-screen Megaplex

Mumbai, Jul 18: Forget multiplexes, soon a megaplex with 15 screens will become a reality in the entertainment capital of India- Mumbai.

This new massive and costly project is the joint venture of Adlabs Cinemas owned by the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and a consortium captained by Phoenix Mills.

The megaplex other than screening of films will be serving other entertainment purposes too.

Throughout the year the music bands will get a platform to perform in the Ebony Lounge.

Popular sports events and live music concerts will also be screened for the public.

The film lovers will have to wait till 2010 to experience this new multi purpose megaplex which will come up at the Phoenix Market City at Kurla.

The entire complex with a seating capacity of 4000 seats will occupy a floor area of 140,000 square feet and will be build on a 4.05 million square feet plot.

Two luxury extra screens will also be there adding more glamour and exclusivity to this cinema complex.
