Karkala, Jan 4: A group of right-wing activists, reportedly belonging to Bajrang Dal, on Thursday January 4 allegedly assaulted a man from another community.

The incident took place at Bangalgudde here late evening on Thursday.

It is learnt that Mohsin (35), a resident of Pulkeri here, was attacked a by group of 6 activists. He sustained injuries for which he underwent treatment at the local hospital.

Sources said that the activists were removing Eid banners at Banglagudde. When they saw Mohsin passing by, they attacked him, for apparently no reason.

Soon after news of the attack spread, a large crowd gathered in front of Karkala police station condemning the incident and demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.

SP Laxman Nimbargi and other higher police officials visited the spot and managed to bring the situation under control.

It is also learnt that a town councillor intervened in the matter and succeeded in restoring peace among the two communities.

Karkala police have registered a case.

Why media called antinationals and terrorists right wing as "activists"? Does the word "Activists" justifies those who engage in terror activities?. Entire judicial system of India either bankrupt or become the slaves of the communal forces. Its high time for international community to intervene and urge Indian govt to close terror shell at Nagpur and other associated branches across India and put ban all so called right wing fringe groups once for all.
