Thanks to the Daijiworld web site that is so generously giving us the news about "Gurkar" training in Kinnigoly. My late father was a Gurkar and so also my brother in our Valencia Parish. The Gurkar had a prominent place on a Palm Sunday as well as on the Nativity feast day. During my retirement life in India I too would like to come forward and volunteer myself as a Gurkar, and if I am elected I too would like to enjoy the training program. It is amazing that so much happening in our vibrant community in Mangalore. Its all in the spirit of "people helping people" whereby we all share and care for each other and fulfill our mission in life.
