Mumbai: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha holds cricket tournament to celebrate anniversary

Mumbai, Jan 29: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha, Maharashtra set in motion its tenth year celebrations by holding a cricket tournament. Rathnaker Shetty lit the traditional lamp.

Former corporator, sportsman Rajesh Vethoskar, chief guest inaugurated the tournaments. Bunts forum Mira road president Jayaprakash R Bhandary unveiled the tenth anniversary banner. Mira Bhayander hotel association chief secretary Madhukar Shetty, Vilas Jadav, D G Shetty, Pradeep Hegde were the guests of honour.

Patrakartara Sangha honorary treasurer Premanath B Shetty Mundkooru, joint secretary Babu K Belchada, executive committee members Sham M Hande, Vishwanath V Poojary Niddodi, Gurudath S Poonja Mundkooru, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjala, advisory committee member Pandith Navinchandra R Sanil, specially invited member Sridhar Uchil and several other members took part in the tournament.



Patrakartara Bhavan committee president Dr Shiva M Moodigere, specially invited member Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi cooperated. Savitha S shetty, Vidya M Bhandary, Tara R Bantwal sang the National Anthem. Sports committee president Jaya C Poojary welcomed everyone. Honorary chief secretary Rons Bantwal gave the keynote address.

Vishwanath Shetty and Subhdeep Shetty delivered the commentary. Vice president Daya Sagar Chouta compered the programme. Honorary treasurer Premnath Mundkoor proposed the vote of thanks.
