Puttur: Engineer from Panaje falls to death from atop building

Puttur, Feb 2: Hariprasad Rai (33), son of Kaadamaje Vittal Rai, native of Panaje village in the taluk, accidentally fell off a building at Bengaluru and lost his life.

This tragic incident happened on Wednesday January 31.

Hariprasad was employed at a company engaged in manufacture of solar power equipment. He was walking on the roof of a building to check a hot water unit provided by his company when it is said that he accidentally stumbled on a pipe. He fell down and lost his life instantly.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.
