Mangaluru, Feb 5: Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mangaluru has called for nominations and applications from individual excelling in their respective fields and eligible for the under-mentioned Rachana Awards for the year 2018.

The candidates should be originally from Catholic Diocese of Mangaluru who may presently reside or work in any part of the world.

The categories are as follows:

1. Agriculture / Plantation – ‘Agriculturist of the year’
2. Business / Industry – ‘Entrepreneur of the year’
3. Profession : Doctor, Advocate, Architect, Chartered Accountant – ‘Professional of the year’
4. Non Resident Indian Business / Industry – ‘NRI of the year’
5. ‘The outstanding woman of the year’

Each award comprises of a Title, Citation, Memento and Felicitation.

The applications will be scrutinized in detail and verified by 5 selection committees, each comprising by 5 members. The Juries Committee will select the awardees after several rounds of deliberations and discussions based on merit.

The Rachana Awards ceremony will be held on 18 November 2018 at Milagres Jubilee Hall, Mangaluru. The Awards will be presented at a function for the purpose in the presence of renowned dignitaries.

The recipient of award needs to be personally present at the Rachana Awards Ceremony.
