Muscat: MCCP to host multifaceted event 'Mangalorean Milan' on Feb 9

Muscat, Feb 6: Mangalorean Catholic Centre of Parish (MCCP), Muscat is all set to enthral the community members with the most enjoyable and fun-filled event of the year - 'Mangalorean Milan' on Friday, February 9. This year, ‘Mangalorean Milan’ will be a full day outdoor event with lots of exciting games, thrilling performances and stimulating competitions.

The activity line up for the day includes men’s volleyball, women’s throw ball, fun sports for adults and children and amazing games for couples on the eve of Valentine’s Day. Hence, this day provides a unique opportunity for every MCCP and community members to participate and enjoy various conventional as well as unconventional sports and activities. This much awaited event will be held at Muscat Sports Club Grounds, Wadi Kabir, starting 9 am.

During the event, the winners of Christmas Crib Competition and Valentine’s Day Message Competition (Konkani & English) will also be announced and prizes will be distributed.

Preparations are in full swing from the executive committee ‘Team-26’, well-supported by the community members and sponsors to make this day a memorable one for all the members of the community. MCCP president, Sunil Furtado stated that there will be a variety of stimulating games and competitions that would appeal to every member of the community whether they arekids, adults, couples or senior citizens.

One of the most active sports personalities of Muscat, Dolly Games will be conducting the men’s volleyball and women’s throw ball in her inimitable and unique style.

A heady mix of fun, sports, team activities and exquisite food promises to make Friday, February 9,a day to look forward to for the Mangalurean Catholic community of Muscat.
