Mangaluru: One arrested for circulating video of attack on girls at Pilikula

Mangaluru, Feb 7: A man was arrested by Kavoor police on Tuesday, February 6, for allegedly posting the video of attack on girl students at Pilikula last month.

Vishad (34), a resident of Pachanady, is the person arrested. The attack had taken place on on January 2.

An activist of a Hindu outfit had attacked the college students in the presence of the police at Pilikula. Three people were arrested relating to this incident.

The video of the attack went viral on the social sites subsequently. The photos of the girl students, who were the victims of this incident, were also posted on the social sites by Vishad.

The arrested accused was produced before the court by the police.

    Everyone knows which political party and politicians supporting these immoral rowdies! Peace lovers and common public will get rid of them soon.....whichever card they use! I wish police will publish their photo...name and shame them! These goons have slapped girls openly in front of police...what is the punishment for such crime? Is it bailable offence within hours???

    Unfortunately, this is a by product of the Modi govt. It may have many progressive ideas, but it is either complicit or unable to rein in hooligans who in the name of morality, take the law into their own hands and enforce their brand of terrorism.
    It is quite accurate to state these are terrorists. They may not be blowing themselves up, but they unlawfully terrorize people and hence they are terrorists.
    Whether they are cow vigilantes or moral brigades Modi is creating terrorism through these goondas

    I am sure these youngsters have no Humanity at all. Circulating videos of girls being attacked is ridiculous n inhuman. As it is our concern for others has hit rock bottom these days. It is getting worse still.
    Such heinous crime can be committed by our youngsters in public and police can watch them with blind eyes, helpless. Where are we heading to, we wonder at times.
