Mangaluru: Deepak Rao’s brother gets job thanks to minister Hegde

Mangaluru, Feb 12: Sathish, brother of late Deepak Rao is unable to read or write. He is dumb and deaf since childhood. Deepak was the only means of support for the family. The family faced several problems due to the death of Deepak. The light of the household was gone after Deepak Rao was murdered brutally.

However Sathish, his brother has been offered a job in the central government's Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd (KIOCL) thanks to the efforts of Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde.

28 years old Sathish will get a job in the company on humanitarian grounds.

Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde, during his recent visit to the house of Deepak Rao, had assured that he will speak to the officials and secure a job for Sathish. KIOCL officials, who obtained necessary documents of Sathish, have consented for a permanent job for him.

It is said that the appointment letter will be received in a week.

    Good deed indeed by Minister Mr. Hegde. Deepak's family can continue to live in dignity. What about so many other human beings who lay their lives for NO fault of theirs? What about Basheer who was also killed ?? When will his family get such compensation or job for his kith n kin.!!
    Can we stop politicizing even in a human being's death. Can our leaders try to be impartial to all where death and compensation is concerned. All this drama is for Vote Bank for up coming elections.!! It looks like these issues are promoted by Great leaders and then all this drama. All this to show the ruling party in bad taste.!!

    An estimated a crore of financial aid has been recieved by his family of this date. Current job offer is an eye wash by the mininster who is at the same time exposed himself by ignoring Bashir's family . He will never change himself in his life time.

    Good thing that Deepak brother got a job. With due respect to the service rendered by Minister Hegde, this is a witty political move by BJP Minister Hegde. Now if at all State Congress gives a job to Basheer's family member , then the BJP will cry and say, minority appeasement to Congress party and will try to polarise the elections.

    Ahmed..you are right.. As hegde is in central wants to look each and everybody equally. Simulatenously it's also our right to co-operate with government and apprehned anti-national elements are on large. While looking government in the interest of nation..should keep religion aside. But we are absolutely opposite to it.
