The modus operandi of the fraud is not clear and the doubt is who has perpetrated the fraud. If it is a fraud by pledging spurious Jewels, then the role of the jewel appraiser has to be probed. If there is a loss on account of loan extended against spurious gold, then negligence of the brach head is one of the reasons.

Today minus 15 Aug 1947 = 70 Years, 5 Months and 29 days. So, how is it 71 years?
Even rounding does not make it 71 years.
