Cloudy weather ahead in J&K


Srinagar, Feb 14 (IANS): Weather improved across Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as clouds gave way to a feeble winter sun.

"Weather will be generally remain cloudy in the state till Thursday," a Met official said.

The minimum temperature was zero in Srinagar while it was minus 8.2 in Pahalgam and minus 9.4 in Gulmarg.

Kargil recorded minus 10, while Leh was coldest at 10.8 degrees Celsius.

Jammu recorded 6.5, Katra 7, Batote 0.3, Banihal minus 0.5, Bhaderwah minus 1.3 and Udhampur 4.6 degrees Celsius.
