Bengaluru: BJP chargesheet due to 'fears of defeat, frustration', says Congress

Bengaluru, Mar 2: A day after the BJP released a booklet against the ruling Congress government, KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao and Bengaluru Development Minister K J George on Friday said the BJP has come out with a "concocted chargesheet" against the State Government out of "frustration" and "fears of defeat" in the coming Assembly polls.

Addressing a joint press conference in Bengaluru, the Congress leaders said the BJP chargesheet was just a bundle of lies.

"It (chargesheet) is not fit to be even put in a waste basket...they (BJP) feel people of the state and Bengaluru are dumb, and will believe them," George said dismissively.

The State BJP leaders on Thursday had brought out a Bengaluru specific "chargesheet" against the ruling Congress while announcing a 14-day "protect Bengaluru" march from Friday.

"Let Prime Minister Narendra Modi or State BJP president Amit Shah or State BJP chief B S Yeddyurappa or any one come, people of Karnataka have decided. They (BJP) will not get more than 55 seats, I even doubt that the number may even come down as days go by," George said.

Alleging that there were reports that the election may be delayed, George said BJP might do it as the ruling party at the Centre has realised that it would lose 100%, and would not cross more than 55 seats.

Dinesh Gundu Rao held BJP responsible for various issues faced by Bengaluru including traffic, potholes on roads, pollution of lakes and inefficient infrastructure. They claimed that the Congress has made all efforts in fixing these issues and giving a face-lift to this "global city."

Once BJP ruled and got 3 Chief ministers in 44 months. The first year was full mess and invited curse by disturbing the peace loving community. The christian community always helped the poor and the people general by opening schools and hospitals. The Nuns and Priests helped the coastal district to turn into a educational hub by giving education as charity. They charged very nominal fee for the English medium schools and thus thousand of youth from coastal city are able to work in call center in different part the state.
Congress come to power without much efforts because the people of Karnataka had realized the true color of Hindutva and day by day the the color of Hindutva has changed and merged with the tricolor.
As on date Congress will get a majority and if not still has a chance to form a government by joining hands with JDS.

All bunch of crooks, regardless of party, trying to fool voters. They have forgotten that voters have become more matured & sensible these days, even in rural areas. Best is to press NOTA button on EVM's, even we can't trust EVM's these days, so better stay at home, as voting is not compulsory in India. What great achievements have these crooks done to vote them for another 5 years.

God save our Nation & our Karnataka state.
