Targeting CM, BJP's 'Suraksha Yatra' marches to Mangaluru from Kushalnagar, Ankola

Daijiworld Media Network - Madikeri (SP)

Madikeri, Mar 4: BJP, on Saturday March 3, flagged off its four-day Mangaluru Chalo 'Suraksha Yatra' simultaneously from Ankola in Uttara Kannada district and Kushalnagar in Kodagu district.

Union minister, D V Sadananda Gowda (DVS), who flagged off the Yatra at Kushalnagar, said that 23 Hindu activists lost their lives in the state because of the eccentric way of administration under Congress rule in the state. He said that his party has launched 'Suraksha Yatra' from two places at a time to create awareness among the people about the anti-Hindu policies of Siddaramaiah-led state government.

Speaking at a press conference at Kushalnagar before the Yatra was launched, DVS said that ministers in the state, ruling party MLAs and their family members are increasingly using aggression and goondaism. Because of their excessive indulgence in this kind of behaviour, a situation has arisen under which the people of the state are not feeling safe.

"The fact that home minister, Ramalinga Reddy, who is expected to protect the people of the state himself has no protection, denotes nothing but the zenith of anarchy in the s ate. People of the state are living under suspicion about being able to live fearlessly," he said.

On this occasion, he also exuded confidence that BJP will bag two seats in Kodagu, eight in Dakshina Kannada, five in Udupi, six in Uttara Kannada and that the party will bag 85 percent of seats and rise to power in Karnataka.

Addressing a public meeting organized at Madikeri later, Dakshna Kannada MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, felt that Siddaramaiah has humbled British as far as providing bad governance and dividing the society for the purpose of gaining power are concerned.

MP, Pratap Simha, MLAs, Appachchu Rajan and K G Bopaiah, MLC, Sunil Subramani, and disitrict BJP president, B B Bharatish, were present.

Speaking at the public meeting organized at Subhas Circle after the inaugural of the Suraksha Yatra at Maladevi Maidan at Ankola, union minister, Prakash Javadekar, said that countdown for Congress rule in Karnataka has begun with results in Tripura and Nagaland going in favour of BJP. He said that Modi's economic reforms have been getting widespread support and more states are coming under BJP rule. "We are everywhere, Congress is nowhere," he stated.

Union minister, Ananth Kumar Hegde, and district BJP spokesperson,Rajesh Nayak, Roopali Naik, Ganapati Ulvekar and others were present.

Union minister, Ananth Kumar Hegde, said that if he was a part of the state government run by Siddaramaiah,he would have tied a boulder around his waist and jumped into the sea rather than being a part of this corrupt government that tries to project a different image in front of the people. He said that Siddaramaiah has been siphoning off tax money of the government, and with this, also driving in last nails in the coffin of Congress party.

After 4.5 years of Siddu rule you came to know, whatever Siddu did was wrong???

If Siddu govt misruled the state, then opposition party BJP should have protested same time only, they wouldn't have gotten up from sleep when election is nearing!

The last minute protest shows... it is politically motivated & has no meaning for it!!!

BJP in karnataka is directly proportional to congress in centre. Both have weak leadership .
BJP in centre is directly proportional to Congress in karnataka.
Both Modiji and Sidhuji have astrong leadership. But only small different latter also favours more development strategy .His action speaks more than speech.

Even BJP supporters will agree with me.

So eventually we must focus on good leadership .So in Karnataka it should be once again sidhuji.

People must rise above the religious and sentimental hypnotism and analyse on the performance of the government at National level. If you see through the developmental eye, the future of our young generation is gloomy. Therefore, think wisely and act in a more responsible manner. Coastal people are not uneducated.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are different districts compared to other districts. Here voters are mature, well educated. They know what decisions to take…

The people have realised that Modi has just been making empty promises. Neither has he kept the promise of generating 2 crore jobs a year nor given them Rs 15 lakh in their bank accounts. His policies have not helped the poor, the farmers, the common man, the youths, the women, the SC/STs.

BJP seems to have forgotten that the Government Secretariat is not in Mangalore, but in Bangalore, where they could have targeted the CM better. The only intention of starting the Suraksha Yathra from Mangalore is to keep the communal divide if the coastal belt on the boil and thereby weaken the country.
