Mumbai, Aug 20: The state government appointed Ivan M Rebello and Rolph B Monteiro, originally from Barkur, Udupi, as special executive officers (SEO), in the metro.

Rebello has been serving as the honorary chief secretary of St Peter’s Association of Barkur in the metro, since the past several years. He is from Barkur, and has also served there as ICYM president in the local parish. He now manages Nawal Store, located at Fort, here and resides at Rose Nagar, Naigaon, in Vasai taluk. Rebello is also a member of the managing committee of Naigaon Citizens' Forum.
Rolph Monteiro, also from Barkur, has been striving for the prosperity of his native village and the St Peter’s Association in the metro. Both are actively involved in managing Rose Nagar Co-operative Housing Society.
