Udupi: Sri Krishna and Justice Interactive Session held at Rajangan

Udupi, Aug 21: An interactive session on Sri Krishna Mattu Nyaya (Sri Krishna and Justice) was held at Rajangan of Sri Krishna Math, here on Wednesday August 20 evening, as part of Sri Krishna Janmasthami celebrations.

Veteran Bhagawat Kumble Sundar Rao and Prof Venkatesh Achar Bangalore were involved in this session along with other participants.

Kumble Sundar Rao, speaking on the occasion, said that the new generation needs the moral and religious teaching more than in the past.  A few youngsters are involved in terrorist and Naxal activities which threaten the fabric of society.  "Our country faces vacuum in several issues.  Therefore, youth who are the future of this country should emulate Sri Krishna’s virtues in order steer the country on progressive mode in all spheres," he added.

State planning commission vice-president B H Shankermurthy was the chief guest present on the occasion.  

State medical education minister Ramachandre Gowda and Sri Raghumanyateerta Swamiji of Bhimanakatte Math were also present at the occasion.

Sri Sugunendrateerta Swamiji of Paryaya Puttige Math felicitated Dr Uday Kumar Desai, head of Mahaganapaty Ayurveda College, Dharwad and Mysore entrepreneur G L Rama Tantri, on the same occasion.

Puttige education institute principal Gopal Acharya compered the programme.  

Sri Krishna Geetanjali programme was held under the leadership of Madoor Balasubramanya.
