Udupi, Mar 29: Two men died after the bike on which they travelled skidded on the road at around 1.30 am on Thursday, March 29.
Carpenter Santosh (29) and fisherman Lokesh (27) are the two deceased persons. Both of them were residents of Badanidiyuru.
As per details, they had told their families that they would come back home after a film show. But at around 1.30 am, they were found lying on the road after their bike skidded opposite Syndicate Bank in Malpe.
Doctors at the hospital said Santosh was brought dead. Lokesh, who was admitted to the hospital, breathed his last on Thursday morning after he did not respond to treatment.
