Kundapur: Resentment in BJP again over Jayaprakash Hegde and Halady Srinivas Shetty

Daijiworld Media Network – Kundapur

Kundapur, Apr 4: In a swift development, former MP Jayaprakash Hegde was seen visiting the legislative constituency of Kundapur. Earlier rumours were making rounds that he will get a BJP ticket to contest in the assembly election. However, it is believed that it is difficult for him to get the ticket in Kundapur and Byndoor. So the present move of Jayaprakash Hegde has created curiosity among the political circles of Kundapur.

Though Hegde has an eye on Kundapur constituency, however, it is not clear whether he is going around seeking support for his candidature or campaigning for the BJP candidate that will be selected by the high command. He is in the news for house visits in the villages in Kundapur. He was seen visiting Byndoor along with his supporters in the past. Now he has stopped visits in Byndoor and started canvassing in Kundapur.

Jayaprakash Hegde & Halady Srinivas Shetty

Word is going around that former MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty will get the BJP ticket for the Kundapur constituency. There is a certain faction which is opposed to this move of BJP. The faction which opposes Halady is supporting Jayaprakash Hegde. It is clear that former MLA and MP are aspirants for a ticket in the constituency of Kundapur.

The disparity of opinions among two factions of BJP has caused enough confusion. One faction of BJP is opposing the house visits of Jayaprakash Hegde, B Kishore Kumar, Rajesh Kaveri and other BJP leaders. Though Kishore and team say that they are going around strengthening the party, the other faction is not ready to accept their version. So the indifference in the party is like a volcano that is going to explode any time.

The dissatisfaction among two BJP factions in Kundapur looks like hot coal covered with ash.

The answer to the confusions and differences will only be clear once the BJP declares its official candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.

Even BJP come to power Halady Srinivas Shetty is not going to be minister because there is certain section within the party lobbying for pro RSS leaders.
As far as Jayaprakash Hegde he has experimented every party till he joined BJP. So BJP may find him loyal.
In the last election Halady revolted against the BJP and won as independent. If has got more votes than he was in BJP. Whereas JP has lost against him in the past.

In both the cases BJP will use them till elections and dump it once the result are in favor.

I would rather suggest JP to go contest as an independent or go back to his parent party will be advisable.

People who struggled for Party , people who sacrificed their life to party must be given importance first and NOT to the one who jumps for ticket from another party...So, i don't want to see S.M.Krishna and JP as BJP candidates in this assembly election...They may be big leaders..they were big leaders in Congress..not in BJP.. let them work for party for 5 years and demand ticket...

Shettre, RSS is remote control of BJP! Nachike malpade, accept the fact! They borrow ideology and draw support from RSS by showing religion face! I do not think both of them are not clean as they are misusing Gods name and religion for their political gain..as simple as that! RSS would have had great respect had they remained apolitical! BJP can not take a step without consulting RSS!! There is parallel leadership seen as bright as day light!! and double frustration as both are not independent! This is my observation and many may feel the same!
