Mangaluru, Apr 17: Producer Ashwin J Pereira on Tuesday, April 17 informed that upcoming Kannada movie ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ directed by Rajesh Venur under the banner ‘iCARE Movies’ will hit the screens soon.

Addressing media here at press club, Ashwin J Pereira said, “We have come with a good movie in the form of ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ which has a strong message for viewers. The movie is based upon ‘IQ Vs EQ’ concept and how it should be balanced. Today, we notice that relation has no value at all and also the education system which we stress upon. We have released the trailer of the movie at Dubai, which is a first for a Kannada movie. The songs of the movie have received good response from people.

Director Rajesh Venur said, “The concept of the film is related to the present generations’ mentality. Earlier, relationships and emotional quotient were given more priority. Today’s generation is smart and parents too look for intelligence and good marks rather than special bond or valuable relationships. Emotions and attachments have lost their importance which we have tried to revive in this movie. It is a family entertainer with a dash of comedy. We have completed the shoot schedule in 45 days across Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mandya and Moodbidiri.”

Actress Radhika Chethan said, “After blockbuster Kannada movie ‘Rangitharanga’, I am excited to work in ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ which has a very strong message. My character in the movie is an important one. The film tells about how to balance IQ and EQ.”

Actress Lasya Nagaraj said, “I will make my debut in Kannada movies through ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’. I play a bubbly character in the movie that is very much drowned in a fantasy world. In most of the movies, there will be a good message, but not sure if it will reach the viewers who can further implement it in their lives. This movie has a message which can bring changes in people’s lives by balancing IQ and EQ. ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ has helped me a lot in changing myself and I hope people will definitely support us.”

Child Artist Chitrali said, “I am very much excited for my first movie in Kannada. I will not reveal the storyline of the movie. I request everyone to step into theaters and watch the movie.”

Radhika Chetan and Kiran Raj play the lead role in ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’. Lasya Nagaraj, Baby Chitrali and Deepak Shetty are also part of the movie.

I wish all the best wishes to the team and the film Asathoma Sadgamaya. We are proud of the team as native of Mangalore that to Catholics venturing in Kannada film is very rare. With the present day challenges in the EDUCATION FIELD being highlighted in the film, reform the society. Let new thought brought in the film yield fruits in the society. Good luck.
