Karkala, Apr 17: A supporter of Congress leader Muniyal Uday Kumar Shetty attempted suicide by pouring kerosene on himself during a protest in Hebri near here on April 17.
Supporters of Muniyal Uday Kumar Shetty have been protesting against Congress senior leader Veerappa Moily alleging his role in denying ticket to Shetty.

Hundreds of supporters took to streets even on Tuesday raising slogans against Moily. On April 16, the Congress party had released its list of candidates where former MLA Gopal Bhandary managed to secure ticket from Karkala constituency.

Hours after the list was out, the supporters of Shetty vented out their anger for denying him the Karkala ticket for the upcoming assembly elections.

The protests have been held in different places of Karkala constituency since Sunday.

    Dear Fans...Kerosene circus will not do any magic..it will NOT open Moily's EYE...Better go to Bengaluru and protest in front of CM's office and residence..but you should be in a position to taste LAATHI yetu...Siddu sir is not an emotional man...But he might bow down if you put more pressure...try your luck..
