SC rejects plea for SIT probe into Judge Loya's death

New Delhi, Apr 19 (IANS): The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed petition seeking SIT probe into the death of Judge Loya who was earlier holding trial in the Shorabuddin Sheikh staged shoot out case.

Holding that there was absolutely no merit in the petition, a bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, said that Judge Loya had met a natural death.

The judgment pronounced by Justice Chandrachud took exception to the way the Public Interest Litigation was filed and the insinuation were levelled against the committee of administrators of Bombay High Court and the judges of the Supreme court in the course of the hearing of the matter.

However, the court said that it was not initiating civil contempt against the petitioner for scandalising the judiciary.

It is expected. After seeing all these acquittal of criminals, murderers, rapists by the honourable (do they really deserve to be called) Supreme Court, my opinion is why we must have judges, lawyers and courts, when verdict is given in favour of these scoundrals. Let all these courts may be closed forever when you have most corrupt Supreme court judges, you can’t expect unbiased judgement. When Fence starts grazing crop, then whom you will blame. How much money as bribe these judges might have taken from BJP to announce verdict in favour of these criminals from BJP. Today these corrupt judges made true Indians head down in shame infront of the whole world. These judges must be hanged in public, so that no other would dare to act like this.
Now it is high time for all of us true Indians who are victims of any kind of atrocities to take law in our hand and punish the culprits then and there, instead of going to these courts. We have to punish them according to their crime like how it is given in Middle Eastern countries. We don’t want such courts filled with corrupt judges & lawyers. Shame on spineless Indian Judiciary.

because Chief Justice Dipak Misra is a Right Wing member, BJP's chela, then how we can get justice under this fekugiri's term. FEKU & DHAKU killed our LAW & JUSTICE. NIA become "No Investigation Agency" under Feku & Dhaku term. Every criminals getting clean chit and this is very bad LAW & RULES.

VERY SHAMEFULL & DANGEROUS FOR INIDIA's FUTURE.

IF THE SC IS ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THERE IS NO FOUL PLAY IN JUSTICE LOYA'S DEATH THEN THEY SHOULD NOT HESITATE TO HAND OVER THE CASE TO NIA OR CBI AT LEAST FOR THE SATISFACTION OF ALL CONCERNED INCLUDING THE GENERAL PUBLIC INSTEAD OF TAKING AN UNILATERAL DECISION NOT TO RE-VISIT THE CASE.

Yes, Judge Loya died naturally, but Justice has been murdered today. RIP Justice. There is already a
pre conceived conclusion. so they cant accept even truth if it is contrary to that. What About various Loopholes in the case? why so many of them die Suspiciously?Deepak Misra shouldn't have been considering this case. He is already accused by other judges to be favoring BJP. May God bless this country!

Here is a compilation of what the judges said:
These PILs (public interest litigations) are scandalous and amount to criminal contempt.
We cannot doubt the statements of the judicial officers who were with (Judge BH) Loya.
It appears to be an attempt by the petitioners to malign judges, and is a frontal attack on the judiciary. The misuse of PIL is a matter of concern. The motivated and frivolous PILs detract the court's time from hearing genuine petitions.
In this case, the petitioners said they had no personal agenda, but during hearing a veiled attempt was made to lodge an attack on the judiciary, which was confronted with scurrilous allegations.
Business rivalries have to be resolved in the market, and political rivalries in the hall of democracy. It's the court's duty to protect the law.

this is not a surprise. if you see the proceedings, ..SC judges have told India few months back what is going on in SC. Advocate Rohatgi saying ...Judge Loya died in the company of his friends. so its natural death . you can not doubt your friends.. Can you ? so in kashmir & UP its natural Rape. what is not achieved in 70 years , all targets will be achieved before 2019. next year many will get Bharat Ratna for sure.

This kind of Judicial decision is not acceptable in democracy because the entire case along with truth is buried.

Supreme Court decided not to conduct any enquiry into suspicious death of judicial officer is not convincing to the common sense of people.

Court was the only protector of people when the Government is destroying all of their right live in dignity without fear. Now fascism is complete with the support of judiciary.

Yes. Judiciary has failed in Salman Khan acquittal and bail case, it failed in acquittal of Kannimoli and Raja in 2 G scam.. .. Why no one sickular is pointing to these cases ? Why only selective amnesia?
Who the hell raised the PIL, when Justic Loyas family kept saying that nothing was wrong?????
Libtards like this should be shot in public for wasting court time and tax payers money. Also SC is very eager to hear such cases promptly which are in limelight. Rule of FIrst come first serve should apply to all cases.
