Bantwal: Jignesh Mevani challenges PM Modi to discuss Karnataka's development face-to-face

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Apr 28: "We do not want the rule of corporates who are advocating Hindutva. We want an administration with secular principles. In order for this to happen all have to unite," said Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani.

He was speaking at the conference organized state-wide under 'Save the Constitution' campaign at Sparsh Kalamandir at B C Road on Saturday, April 28.

He challenged the Prime Minister and said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hesitating to visit Karnataka. Though I am in Karnataka for so many days for 'Save Democracy' programme, Modi has not stepped into Karnataka out of fear. Let Modi, who speaks of false development come to Karnataka. I am a Gujarati and so is Modi. Come, we will discuss the development of Karnataka face-to-face."

Actor Prakash Rai said, "BJP will not form government at all. Wife of Vedavyas Kamath, BJP candidate of Mangaluru south legislative constituency is asking votes in order to save Hindutva. It is not a crime to ask for votes in a democracy. However, please do not seek votes on religious grounds. It is not right to play politics in the name of Hindu religion. BJP is a party which supports rapists.

"BJP does not have any principles and self-thinking capacity. We should know who you are. Yeddyurappa, what is your age? How old is Amit Shah? What is his qualification? Yeddyurappa will do anything for Amit Shah. Is this your eligibility?

"Modi, who asks people of Karnataka to see him as a Kannadiga has lost his mind. He does not have the capacity to ask accounts in the bank. If the youth question Modi about their future, he asks them to fry pakodas. You (Modi) get down from your position and make tea. Why do I want to know what Nehru has done? If we lie one hundred times a day, will it become a truth? If we have to save humanity, all of us have to join our hands," he said.

K L Ashok, leader of state committee for 'Save the Constitution' campaign said, "We will not vote for the killers of Mahatma Gandhi and Gauri Lankesh. People who oppose the Constitution of Dr B R Ambedkar do not have the right to rule the country. Good and sensible people are breaking their silence.

"This is not an election between Allah and Ram. This is an election between hatred and love. This is a semi-final. There are no people to campaign for Yogi Adityanath and it is a desperate situation for him. We have to foil the attempt of making the coastal region the laboratory for their experiments. We have to defeat the mastermind behind communal violence. In order to save the Constitution, Karnataka Vedike has been formed under the leadership of freedom fighter Doraiswamy and guidance of senior lawyer A K Subbiah," he said.

Richa Singh, student leader of Allahabad, in her address to the gathering said, "Parties like BJP have only one agenda of finishing the democracy and people power and establishing the principles of Sangh Parivar. It has become a necessity today to prevent BJP from coming to power.

"BJP has directly attacked the Constitution. In the last four years, Modi has started deciding as to who is a lover of the nation and who are against the nation. We are against the 'Rashtravad' of Godse. There is interference in the work of the judiciary and hold on the election commission. Inquiries are conducted on people who are questioning these acts of BJP. 15 lac youngsters of Karnataka, who are voting for the first time have to defeat BJP, which is the most corrupted party."

D M Kulal, Mustafa Kempi, Nirmal Kumar, Alwyn Colaco, journalist Pushparaj Shetty and Vani Periyodi were present

The programme began by releasing the book 'Red Alert'.

Suresh Bhat Bakrebail presided over the function. Ummer welcomed the gathering. Ismath Pajir compered the event.

Where were these intellectuals before 2014, were they Manda buddi's and then suddenly became super intellectuals.
These guys were not seen when there were scams and riots and even today when there is atrocities in WB on Hindu's they never speak about them... Kind of go into hibernation mode.

It is fact that awareness within Hindu community is very much important, otherwise congress like fake party will distroy Hinduism. Already hindus are living in fear in J&K, West bengal, Kerala etc. Cow theft, love jihad, forcefull conversion is real fact. Situation near Kerala border is alarming.

Hindus must stay united for their own safety. Fake congress suddenly realized that hindus are also important. Earlier i never saw Pappu visiting temples so often. After election also he will never visit. Just to fool Hindus. Why congress opposed triple talaq bill, if they are so concerned about wifes/ ladies haha. Public sab jaanti hai. Hindu unity is very important which will force all other parties to respect hinduism.

Also where is the Cong Mahila leader who held a candle light procession for Afisa.? Why hasnt she shown such emotions and aggressiveness when the Mulla raped a Hindu minor in the mosque??? Why is the outrage so selective???

Therefore, we, the people keep our wisdom on top of our minds and exercise care and responsibility in our selection for a "by the people, of the people and for the people" government in support of creating a beautiful developed environment for our next generation. Jai Karnatka.

State BJP leaders won’t do that. They didn’t do anything to win this election even though there is plenty of issues. It will be Amit shahs and party workers efforts may lead to win. As far as LOBO allegation is concerned it’s started in last election. It was rumored that a disgruntled party leader to defame n deny ticket racked this issue.

You just see surveys and be happy. These surveys were taken before declaring candidates by the partys and are done by all 3 media groups who are working for the govt. And Modi is telling the surveys are funded my opposition and bjp is gonna get majority hence they r trying to give BJP less seats in the survey. If u see the ground report right now its advantage Congress. Lets see what our P.M will cry during his rallies like he did before 2nd phase in Gujarat. But he will find it hard to influence the voter with his speech due to language factor.

The BJP leader's wife of Mangalore South Constituency is seeking votes from Mangaloreans to protect Hindutva. I saw the video and while she was seeking votes in the name of Hindutva the dogs were barking loudly from behind to shut her voice as dogs were that India is a secular country and not the property of Hindu leaders. I hope people will realise it is not religion but it is Education, Health, Power, and other good facilities mangalore requires.
