Hard to find truth in Modi's words: Rahul

New Delhi, Apr 29 (IANS): Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that while Modi keeps making promises, the common man has a hard time finding truth in his words.

"Our Prime Minister keeps speaking and making promises. Wherever he goes, he makes a few new promises to the people. But the people have had a hard time sifting through his words and find truth in them. Oh this man has made so many promises but where is the truth, they wonder," Gandhi said.

The Congress President was addressing the ‘Jan Aakrosh' rally organised by the party in the national capital.

"He had promised employment to two lakh people every year. People trusted him. But after four years what we have is widespread unemployment. Measures like demonetisation and the Gabbar Singh Tax (GST) have briken the back of the informal sector," Gandhi added.

Look who is talking, about 'Jan akrosh'?? An individual who has a 32 defeat track record!! A individual whose party has been ousted 'state after state' . Boss, India has shown its 'Akrosh' to you and your party. Let us see how you Ktaka 'saving' turns around. How can you preach democracy , where you have become a president of a party by sidelining other senior leaders?

When you are in power and EVMs are at your disposal, dishing out 32 defeats to the opposition is a piece of cake for Feku. I know your obvious response would be ' what happened in Punjab/WB/Bihar ? I'd say it's part of the dirty strategy - run fair election in a state or two, just to deflect needle of suspicion.

You forgot how Modi was in a hurry during the National Anthem that too in front of an International audience at Moscow? You forgot how Modi was wiping his sweat with the Indian National Flag on World Yoga Day also in front of an Internation audience? Bhakths have short memories as well as pea brains.

Agree with the Congress President, Truth has become a causulity with the false promises made by Modi in 2014 and in his various election speeches made around the country. The Gujarat Model of Devlopment ? has been given a royal burial after winning the general elections, fighting corruption is zero. there is no accountability and corruption is rampant.

When Trust is lost the battle for the peoples minds and hearts is lost.

Subsidies to the minority rich were eating away fiscal capabilities of Governance for the majority impoverished. The truth is that those who can and should pay realistic tax are now paying tax and costs and the impoverished are being progressively empowered with welfare agendas such as free cooking gas and low cost of subsistence necessities. Four years progress was establishment of the foundation for real( not virtual) economic growth with future ready skillsets and vocational opportunities. Status quo apathy is no longer in fashion. Modern educated citizens realise this .

Every vote in Karnataka is going to have an historical value.

They either vote for corruption accused and tainted faces offered by Modi led BJP to vote again. If they vote for them, it implies they do not believe in the scams they are accused of. Yeddy, Reddy, Katta , Eshwarappa are all clean politicians, who are only hopes of better karnataka.

On the other hand if they vote for congress, that will have a ripple affect in future elections, where down fall of Modi led BJP is certain.

It will be interesting to watch what wise people of Karnataka are going to choose between.
