Congress doing communal politics in Karnataka, BJP tells EC, seeks action

New Delhi, May 3 (IANS): The Congress was allegedly seeking votes on communal grounds and also using money power in Karnataka in violation of the electoral laws, the BJP on Wednesday told the Election Commission.

It also sought action against state officials who are "demonstrating leanings towards the ruling political dispensation" ahead of the May 12 assembly elections.

A BJP delegation led by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari visited the EC and demanded "immediate criminal action" against senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge.

They also submitted a memorandum wherein it also stated that delay in granting permissions by the state officials was hurting its election campaign.

The delegation also sought the constituencies of Belgaum North, Gokak, Yemakanmardi, Badami and Bableshwar be declared "critical" and Central Armed Police Forces and micro observers "be deployed forthwith to ensure a level playing field for all parties".

"In a public meeting on May 1 at Kalaburagi in Karnataka, Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge appealed to Muslims to cast their vote en masse in favour of the Congress candidates. This is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct and a criminal offence under the provisions of Representation of People's Act, 1951," the BJP memorandum said.

"This desperate misadventure of the Congress party is an offence against the community and a bid to divide the otherwise peace loving communities of Karnataka. The BJP urges the Commission to act decisively and firmly against such attempts of the Congress Party," it added.

It also complained that there had been "unduly long delays in according permission for even small and routine requests being made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates and workers".

"Most often, the permissions are neither denied nor approved, thus leaving the candidates in state of confusion and hence hurting the party's election campaign," it said.

The BJP has asked the EC to direct the District Electoral Officers and the General Observers to "personally oversee" such requests and be held "personally accountable" for the alleged delays.

    Dear Politician,

People of this century are not like last decades. They are quite wise to judge. Any party, either BJP or Congress or .. Do good work. Allow the citizens to live in peace, give them utmost possible job, better price for day today living . If there is communal give strict and sever order irrespective of religion. And not like if Hindu is so and Muslim is so...

After all common man wants peace and bread to live. Religion and other things are secondary. Citizens are not bother about whether it is BJP or Congress or any other party.

One can won by false promises, but in that way, road will not remain longer. Just do good jobs what the common man needs., you ein the harts of the citizen.

Its joke of the day - CONGRESS DOING COMMUNAL POLITICS.

Now there is no any play card for the game remained.

So far who was saying there is no need vote from Muslims... who's wife was saying in Mangalore - we want vote from Hindus and Hindutva.

But for Kannadigas, no need to teach to whom to vote, we are not UP Bhayyas. Even no need for us to come from north from their native place for election campaign. No need to try to devide us. We Kannadigas, live together, Hindus, Muslims, Christians as one family under one umbrella with peace as we are peace lovers. Don't come from north to disturb and to put us on confusion. First you go back to your native home of north and try to solve your own problems like rape, communal... Leave about rape cases in Karnataka, even for small differences, we don't want to involve. We respect one anthers' religion and faith. We are by the Grace of God well educated unlike you north Indian politicians. So no need to teach us. There is a saying in Hindi "ZAFFRON KI KHADAR GADHA KYA JANAY".
We want a candidate who worries about future development, who cares for one times bread for poor, who cares for peace in the community, unlike, rape, murders and murders.

Frustrated, disturbed and disappointed BJP leaders have no issues at all to fight against Congress and its strongest CM Siddaramayya! PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnatha Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Muralidar Rao, Adityanath, Ravi Skanker Prasad and many leaders are struggling day and night against Congress. They talk against corruption but bring in Janrdana Reddy! What a joke!! All surveys say that BJP wont get more than 65-70 seats inspite of Modi's capmaign. People of Karanataka are fed up listening all lies, false allegations by Amit Shah and his team, fake news by BJP leaders. PM Modi and Amit Shah must have underestimated Siddaramayya! The cant answer Siddaramayyas questions! So Amit Shah visits temples and mutts day and night! Now only way left is to lodge false complaints with Election Commission!BJP is desperate and frustrated!

Look who is crying foul..................The wolves blaming the sheep. The architects of communal divide are blaming others now, since their evil intentions have been found out by the common man. They thought that the people of Karnataka would be fooled just like how they fooled the poor gullible people from the hindi belt. Sensing defeat they are now crying like babies.

Signs of Desperation on the part of the BJP. After indulging in blatant communal politics since the last general election across the country, they seem to be getting disturbed by their own brand of politics.

Karnataka would be the bigginning of the end of BJP in South India.
