After Karnataka, ‘Congress khojo abhiyan’ in country: Chhattisgarh CM

New Delhi, May 15 (DC): With the Congress moving towards another electoral defeat and BJP set to win Karnataka, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh welcomed BJP’s lead in the state and also took a dig at Congress’ losses.

“This is a historic win for BJP. I want to thank all the people of Karnataka for voting for us. Ab desh mein Congress khojo abhiyan chalega, kahaan rahegi pata nahi (Now, ‘search for Congress’ campaign will run across the nation. No one knows in which state the Congress will remain in power),” Raman Singh told news agency ANI.

Early trends have suggested that the BJP has crossed halfway mark in Karnataka with the party leading in over 112 constituencies of the state Assembly.

Voting, which took place on May 12, saw Karnataka’s highest voter turnout (72.13 per cent) since the 1952 Assembly elections.

I think Rahul Gandhi would have not said he is the PM candidate for 2019 election. 90% of south canara seats would have win by congress.

Dear CM, you should know that bjp has won in karnataka by stabbing the people in their back. Its not bjp win but evm win. Evm machines were adjusted by bjp in advance and based on this bjp leaders were stating in advance that bjp will win in karnataka. Besides this EC also collaborated with BJP in miscounting the votes in some places where there was good chance of congress candidates to win. BJP followed same policy in previous MP election and did same thing in almost all the states. I could not understand why EC is following bjp like a pet dog and not stopping use of evm machines. These machine3s are being used in India only. These evm machines are easily adjustable to transfer votes from one candidate to another and this is what bjp agents did. |All opposition parties should unite and fight against this day robbery.
