Mumbai, Sep 15: Konkani Organisation of Our Lady of Rosary Church Goregaon West had organised Monti Fest Celebrations on Sunday, 14 September. Konkani Mass was held in the morning in which traditional fruits were offered during the offertory. Mr. Victor DSouza introduced the main celebrant Fr Neville Rodrigues who had come for this occasion from Honnavar.

Children gathered with flower plates at the main stage. Novena to Infant Mary was held during the occasion. Children showered flowers on the statue of Mother Mary while singing glorifying hymns to Mother Mary.

As the heavy rain showers poured during this occasion the cultural programme were held in the church hall.

Jyothi DSouza, Jenetha, Vinod, Benny, Johnson and others took part in the cultural events that consisted songs, dance and hilarious skits.

Fr Epy spoke on the importance of the event and the `Novem Jevonn' was enjoyed by all the people.
