Bengaluru, Jun 1: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that the expansion of his council of ministers will be done on June 5.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, June 1, Kumaraswamy said that he was ready to expand the ministry on Sunday, June 3. But the Governor will be away in Delhi on that day. So the Governor has asked him to expand the ministry on June 5.
AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal, who met JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda, said that all issues pertaining to sharing of power have been resolved.
“The coalition partners have reached a consensus on all issues, including sharing of portfolios,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kumaraswamy and his deputy G Parameshwara have convened a press conference at 4.30 pm to share details of the agreement reached between the coalition partners.
