Mangaluru: Car goes up in flames at Kavoor, miraculous escape for driver

Mangaluru, Jun 1: A man had a miraculous escape after his car burst into flames at Kavoor here on the night of Friday June 1.

A Hyundai i20 car accidentally caught fire and and got completely burnt at near Kavoor junction here.

Police said that the car belonged to Jayaraj, a resident of Bajpe.


Sources said that the car went up in flames due to short circuit.

No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.

    Never ever get installation anythg rest thn showroom...myself had fancy light frm outside ths same problem I had faced in my car installing fog lamps wire got short it bumper got fire but thank God I managed it to off showroom peppl say whn orginal wire of car joined outside with local wire it gets short bcz tht we face such problems showrooms may b slightly expensive but it will b orginal no issues at all....

    Thank God Driver escaped. Company should check the vehicle if any defects exists in the car.
