Mangalore and udupi peoples are well educated. By reading all those comments i feel that over educated. Instead of praying for their safety and well wish, we people started to play politics over religion and caste. We need a reason to fight over silly things. I request all of you to pray for the safety of both the sisters.

    SMF,
our ancestors were illiterate, poor, hard workers, but pure and Clean in their heart. There was no transport, no media of communication as of today, then the question of supporting British does not arise. How they could get the news? So innocent they were. Don't blame our ancestors by your comment. If they were supporting British why our Hindu brethren saved us?? Thousand million dollar question SMF.

Even today our village people, church authorities honour our Hindu brothers why because they saved us. So I said before writing the comment read it.

Tippu is a great warrior right but very cruel too.

Please note that I have not commented in a negative manner but on the feelings still prevail in our village. Evidence is there.. We are still *"INDEBTED TO OUR HINDU BROTHERS"* cannot be denied. We still live with them in harmony and peace.

    Jai tulunadu

Asha and Aswin, both sisters hailing from Soraba and Asha (22), wife of Dennis Crasta, a resident of Haredadda in Nalkoor village, DK.

Might be both sisters are finding difficult to adjust to the Mangalore situations due to different cultural back ground OR might be, wife could not cope up with the husband, reasons only the sisters know better than anybody OR some unscrupulous people might have given hope, life full of roses.

    Hope they are safe.

    Jossey,

You don't the history how Tippu tortured and harassed Christians of south kanara?? Have you heard "nether kere"?.
He even came to the interior villages and attacked churches including my village too. I was not there at that time but our ancestors faced the torture. That time our Hindu local brothers (Shetty families) saved the church and people. Till today, every year during our church feast we honour them...if you read the history you will know

May be Tippu killed / punished the people, because people those who living his in his kingdom and supporting to enemies British.

Whatever he did as a ruler of his kingdom and punish the culprits whoever are against him.
Even anyone his place will do the same. No one will honor for the enemies. Why presenting in negative manner. You cannot amend the History like RSS.

History says Tippu was great warrior and he fought with British. He was a Shere Ye Mysore.
This honor not came from Chor bazar or China.

One should have a courage to stand up and say, if it is right, it is right. Tippu was a tyrant and the curse is on his head for generations for his atrocities, murders, rapes what he had done.

Look at the present scenario. Whoever owns his things like sword, or any other so called precious items, they in herit his curse too. What happened to Vijaya Mallya, the billionaire; after owning Tippu Sultan's sword, his downfall started. What happed Siddaramayya, when the State was against celebration of Tippu Jayanthi, he still supported it and now all know, what happened to his chair of CM.
Tippu was a tyrant and he will be the tyrant forever, to all those families who have been suffered, including me.

I wish you were still under British rule and enjoy the life, facilities they were giving Indians. You may be a key board warrior but it is different when you fight a battle field against some one who wanted Indian to be their slaves and it is more difficult when our Indian people supported British for few pieces of gold coins LOSERS. ONLY IN RSS HISTORY. WARS FOUGHT FOR TERRITORY NOT AGAINST RELIGION IN THE PAST. IRRESPECTIVE OF RELIGION, HINDU'S MUSLIMS, CHRISTIANS SACRIFICED LIVES FOR MANY WARS. RULERS KILLED PEOPLE OF SAME FAITH TOO. RULE OF WAR EXERCISED. RSS ALREADY MANIPULATED THE INDIA HISTORY TERRIBLY AND TRYING TO DIVIDE EVERYTHING AS THEIR BRITISH ANCESTORS DID.
#DIVIDE AND RULE, THEY GOT NO OTHER WAY FOR SURVIVAL. # SHAME

Supporting Tipu Jayanthi is his majboori. Kare tho kya kare bechara aadat se majboor hai. Mr. Jossey is so much obsessed with Congis and Sidhu that he is compelled to blindly follow whatever they say or do.

    Jossey high on Sunday spirit.

Tippu is a murderer. He fought Britishers to protect his kingdom and it cannot be considered as independence fight, Hindus and Catholics didnt supported him for various reasons. Looking at present scenario in India. I feel British rule was better. At least we had good education, health, Law and order, infrastructure, roads, railways etc., & etc.,
