Riyadh : 26-year-old Bantwal man killed in Saudi Arabia road accident

Riyadh, Jun 4: Reports said that a road accident which happened at Jubail in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, June 3 morning, claimed the life of a resident of Goodinabali near here.

The victim of this accident was Anzar (26), native of Goodinabali in the taluk.

Anzar had left on Sunday morning by a vehicle to a place on some purpose. The vehicle went out of control near Jubail after which it hit a roadside pole. The vehicle had two passengers from Uttar Pradesh in addition to Anzar. Anzar's family members said that the passengers in the car also died on the spot.

Anzar had recently married. After marriage, he had left for Saudi Arabia a few days back. Those close to the family of the deceased have informed that Anzar was the son of the sister of Qamaruddin, Asif and Samiyulla Goodinabali, leaders of Karnataka Cultural Foundation, Saudi Arabia.

Family sources revealed that the mortal remains of the deceased were kept in the general hospital, Jubail and that funeral will be performed in Jubail.

Ijaz, local unit president of Popular Front of India, has mourned the death of Anzar and extended sympathies to his bereaved family.
