Bengaluru: Deputy CM Parameshwara performs Vastu Puja at Vidhana Soudha

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jun 4: Deputy chief minister of Karnataka, Dr G Parameshwar, performed Vastu Puja at room No. 327 and 328 allotted to him in Vidhana Soudha on Sunday June 3.

On Sunday, Parameshwar's wife, Kannika, and a priest, reached Vidhana Soudha along with items required for the puja and performed various rituals including Vastu oblation for over two hours. During this period, members of the general public were kept at bay. The police reportedly had instructions not to allow access to people to the building.

Immediately after having been sworn in as deputy chief minister, Parameshwar had personally verified various options available out of rooms earmarked for ministers near the chief minister's room and chosen room No. 327 and 328 taking into account the fact that they are large-sized, and are Vastu-compliant.

During the last some days, Parameshwar, who used to take part in the meetings held by chief minister, Kumaraswamy, used to operate from these rooms. Now he has officially taken over the rooms and performed the rituals. Sources say that the deputy chief minister was not present when the puja and other procedures were performed. He had left before the commencement of rituals after meditating for some time.

Key to success is the "Unity in Diversity" which needs to be backed by dedicated work, honest approach, solidarity with one another and transparent governance, strict measures to stay away from influencing the State Administrative machinery, which should have a free hand. All these will lead us to complete 5 years with the best progress report and will be the answer to the current 4 years of rule at the centre. So stay awake, work relentlessly and keep the dynamics of unity for building a progressive karnataka.
