Mangaluru, Jun 4: Catholic Sabha, Mangalore Pradesh on Monday, June 4 felicitated the newly-elected Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath.
Anil Lobo Fermai, president, Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh, Anil Patrao, secretary, Episcopal city varado, and Patric D’Souza honoured the MLA by presenting flower bouquets.
Congratulating Vedavyas Kamath, Anil Lobo said, "We have known Vedavyas Kamath from many years. Being an active politician and social worker, he has gained a good name in the city. He is close to all communities and has special concern for the poor. Keeping good faith in him, the public of Mangaluru has given him an opportunity to serve them."
Acknowledging the honour, MLA Vedavyas Kamath said, "Now that I am the MLA for Mangaluru South, it is my responsibility to serve everyone without any discrimination. My office doors are open to all any time. I am happy to be honoured by Catholic Sabha. I accept this as a blessing for my future service."
