Panaji, Jun 6: National spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha based in Goa, Chetan Rajhamsa, accused the investigating agency of making Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti soft targets in the case pertaining to the murder of journalist, Gauri Lankesh, Referring to a popular adage, he said that the investigating agency is acting like allowing the thief to go Scot free and sending an ascetic to the gallows.
In a press statement issued at Ponda, Rajhamsa pointed out that Indrajit Lankesh has always been claiming that the state government led by Siddaramaiah is responsible for the murder of his sister. "Indrajit has mentioned repeatedly that relationship Gauri had with naxal activists and the disturbed law and order situation during the then government were responsible for Gauri's murder," he stated.

Accused - K T Naveen
"The investigating agency was groping in the dark, having not got any clue about Gauri's murder. Accidentally they stumbled upon K T Naveen Kumar, a Hindu Yuva Sene leader and three activists of the organization. They were arrested on the false charges of their involvement with illegal sale of arms. After some days, three activists were released," he pointed out.
He further said that as soon as it became clear that a coalition government headed by JD(S) was being formed in the state, the special investigation team suddenly became active and arrested activists who had contacts with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti some years back, and charged them of K S Bhagawan's murder. This is a conspiracy to crush organizations committed to Hindutva principles and their activists in the name of secularism, he claimed.
