Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Jun 7: Two gangs fought a pitched battle with each other by using iron rods and swords near Paddandadka mosque near Venoor in the taluk on the night of Tuesday June 5 over the issue of Madrasa syllabus.

Arif, Muzammil, and Shabbir, said in a complaint that they had come under attack at the hands of another group. On the basis of complaint filed by them, a case against Basheer Gandhinagara, U K Mohammed, Shariff Gandhinagara, Ashraf Gandhinagara, Rahim Peradi and Shabbir was registered in Venoor police station. The dispute between the two groups reportedly arose on account of differences over Madrasa syllabus.

Reportedly, differences had been persisting since long between activists of Samasta Kerala Sunni Students Federation and Sunni Students Federation on this issue. As per information, quarrel broke out between activists of the two groups at around 10 pm on Tuesday near the mosque, following which the groups fought with arms. A counter complaint was also filed by the other group.

Venoor police, who have registered both the complaints, are investigating.

    Strict action should be taken against all those who use these weapons and must get into the root of these supplies. Then only a solution will come. What is this?? Swords and Rods for fight?? There is a strong need to eradicate this menace, before it becomes a crisis in India.

    This is the moth of Ramzaan, people - have some shame ! If you both fight for learning about same God, no wonder you guys never established peace with other religions. Pakistan and Bangladesh were very rightly separated and the remaining are not making the matters any better.

    Shame .. Shame...

    @Jennifer,

    Let me improve your knowledge Pakistan and Bangladesh was not seperated, but was created from the India itself by few peoples vested interest, and where as peace is concerned let me explain you that ideology of westerns is going around the world and bombing every country and destroying them. Think before you ink.

    Rezy,

    Whatever background of creation of these countries may have been, looking at what India is today and the poverty and mass population existing in these land masses, it appears to be two tumors severed away. To be recalling that they were once part of India itself is disgusting.

    3-4 of each group involved. Better ignore and see them behind Bars. And these two groups will decide what their child should be taught? What a way to set an example of a Role Model to their Kids.
