Udupi: Hussainabba's death – accused cop’s bail application dismissed

Udupi, Jun 7: Relating to the death of cattle trader, Hussainabba (62) from Jokatte here, near Perdoor on May 30, head constable of Hiriadka police station, Mohan Kotwal, had moved bail application. The application, which came up for consideration before the court on Wednesday June 6, was rejected.

Mohan Kotwal, one of the accused in the case of alleged murder, had moved his bail application in the court on June 4. The additional civil court here, before which the application was placed on Wednesday, rejected the application.


Hussainabba

Senior assistant public prosecutor, Praveen Kumar R N, who appeared on behalf of the prosecution, raised objections to the bail application in the court.

    The BJP must respect the rule of Law and not politicise such cases. If the Court is denying bail to Policemen in this case then BJP should cease all demonstrations and respect the Law.

    Dear Mr Prabhu, this particular case is not about killing terrorists, robbers, rowdies, Naxalites and so on. In this case a cattle trader is killed, whether he was doing legal or illegal business is a separate issue. It is like breaking law and he is subject to legal action as per the law of the land if he is found guilty. How can BD/RS or the Police take law into their own hands?? Also just because you don't like the minorities how can you justify crime??? Please note killing a human being is a serious crime whether he is criminal or not. Just because he is a suspected law breaker no one gets the right to attack and kill him!

    They all became united and voted for BJPee for this only to lynch,vandalise etc.It was their plan.But look at God's plan.God is the best planner don't they know it.

    If not then they should go back to their scriptures Mahabharatha and Ramayana.How truth won over evil.

    Why is BJP leading a strong protest, this means all those outfits are deeply connected in the murder. BJP has shown it clearly that VHP, BD and RSS are involved in the murder.
    BJP gets money from such activities, may be Hussainabba did not pay bribes, that is why these groups killed him.
    Anyway all Indians know that BJP stands for Brastachar Jhumla party, and the party has proved that over and over again , All bakths are blind believers of Modi who is a mass murderer and one of the worst politician India has ever had. The world will know about him sooner or later.
    He is killing the public by telling lies, No development only Jhumla....
    Gauri Lankesh's blood, is also on them.
